I want to like it but the description makes me wonder if a closer look will reveal more cosmetic damage. But I’ll take that AW11 from the 4th photo.

If it’s all true, and it hasn’t been hit, that might be NP. I’d bargain, but it’s a nice original example.

I’ll take the S30 from pic #2. Other wise, IDK. I guess it looks ok...

Barring some horrible hidden rust issue, I call NP. A resonably clean S130 that isn’t a GD 2+2 automatic is hard to find. Slap a turbo on that and have some fun.

That’s about expected. Maybe a little less given that he’s put in a new camshaft and head unit, which could mess with the car’s reliability. I would say $2000 is fair given the annoying mods, $2500 if it’s actually rust free on the frame.
My guess is that it’s got a lot of cosmetic damage though. Only if it looks better in real life than in the pictures (unlikely) would I consider this a NP, but it’s also not CP because he can probably be talked down to a reasonable price.

The AW11 is my dads :) the Datsun and POS mustang are mine. You are totally right about the cosmetic damage though

It comes with the territory of owning 30+ year old Japanese things.

Well, now you know. They’re before my time too, but my dad still had some around when I was a kid.
